A Message from Our Children and Youth Ministry Coordinator: Children and Youth make up a lively and active part of our church family. They are full members of our church and, as such, deserve the best ministry that St. James and St. Brendan can offer them. For this reason, St. James and St. Brendan is committed to the ongoing growth and development of our children and youth ministries. It is our long range goal to be offering age appropriate programs for children and youth on both Sundays and during the week. Reaching Outward: Teaching our children how to serve others. Building Inward: Building community and making friends. Digging Downward: Learning about our Christian Faith. Lifting Upward: Worshiping God in relevant ways. Age	Sunday Morning	During the Week
Infants	"Creche" This is our Sunday morning Nursery program. Parents can relax and enjoy worshiping while their little ones are cared for by our qualified nursery workers. Come see our newly renovated nursery.	"Moms and Tots" (Coming Soon) Here is a chance for busy moms to gather together, socialize and learn while their children play.
JK-SK	"Stepping Stones" Age appropriate Sunday School lessons and activities	"Junior Choir" Children meet regularly to practice and perform kid-friendly worship music. "Messy Church" (Coming Soon) Tuesday nights. Every week we lead a kids craft, followed by a short service of worship, followed by a meal. Too busy on Sunday? Bring the whole family out to Messy Church instead!
Grade 1 to Grade 4	"Promised Land" This Sunday school program is geared for those children aged K-4. It includes songs, crafts, and Bible teaching.
Grade 5 to Grade 8	"WildSide" This is a Sunday School program for older children.	"Nite Life" A youth dance held every 2nd and 4th Friday nights in the Guild Hall, 7-10 pm. Music, Friends, Food, prizes and more! Dances are always chaperoned by our volunteers. "Impact" Weekly Junior Youth Group. Different activities include movies, teaching, puppet ministry, field trips and other activities.
Grade 9 to Grade 12	"Leaders in Training" LIT is a program that enables our youth to plan, lead, and teach Sunday School Lessons. This ministry can count toward their Highschool requirements for community service. "Server's Guild" Youth play a valuable role in our Sunday worship by participating in our Server's Guild. Here, youth participate as crucifers, acolytes, as well as serving at the altar. Server training is available on an ongoing basis.	"Quest" (Coming Soon) Weekly Senior Youth Group. Different activities include "God @ the Movies", "Youth Alpha", outreach activities and more.
