Turns out that Sunday Worship isn't just "one more thing to fit in" to our already busy lives, but rather it is the "one thing" that keeps us grounded in the divine pattern. Anglican worship is "ordered" or "patterned" worship. Every week, we go through a life giving "routine" (or liturgy) where we: 1. Gather together; 2. Hear the Word; 3. Share the Meal (Eucharist or Communion); and 4. Are sent into the world. This Sunday routine, gives purpose and meaning to our Monday-Saturday routines. Worship and Life start to connect. We start to sense God's presence in the daily grind.
So, this fall we invite you and your family to enter into the divine routine, the holy ritual, the life-giving pattern of weekly worship here at St. J & B.
"Do not be conformed to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:2
