The "good old days" of people just magnetically "showing up" at church are nearly over. The Magi crossed numerous cultural hurdles to see the Christ, but nowadays, fewer and fewer people are willing to cross the barriers between them and church. So, how can we meaningfully communicate the gospel in our changing, post-Christian context? The answer is a shift from "attractional" church to "missional" church, where we remember that we were never meant for them to come to us, but for us to go to them.
