Epiphany Stories: Taylor Muileboom
Amazing Grace: Choir
In John 3 and John 4 we find two stories, that at first glance, seem to be completely unrelated. One story about a devout religious "insider", and another story about an immoral, religious "outcast". Nothing in common right? But what if the gospel writer John place these stories side by side, so that we could compare and contrast them? Upon closer inspection, and using Tim Keller's "Encounters With Jesus" Lecture series, we discover that the stories of Nicodemus, and the Samaritan Woman at the Well, both hammer home the same point: our saving hope is found not in religion or irreligion, but in a trusting relationship with Jesus Christ.
