![]() When guests come over for dinner, we don't serve them leftovers: we give them our best. If there are leftovers, WE eat them, not our guests. Yet, many "rich" people (ourselves included, right?) give our leftover time, and our leftover money to others, but save the best for ourselves? What's wrong with this picture. This morning, Paul challenges us to give as only rich people can: by being rich in good deeds, and generous in our giving. Join us for part 3 of our (Northpoint) Be RICH series.

![]() If you could give some advice to rich people what would it be? Would you warn them? Challenge them? Remind them? Now that we've established that we are among the "rich" people Paul is talking about we can begin to explore some of the warnings and advice that Paul gives to the rich people as recorded in 1 Timothy 6:17.
![]() You might not know this, but the Bible contains several passages that are written specifically to "rich" people. The problem is, nobody thinks they are rich. Everyone who reads these passages thinks of someone else, someone "richer". As a result, does anyone pay any heed to these scriptures? Paul writes to Timothy: "Command those who are rich..." But, who are these "rich" people? Following the lead of North Point Church, today we begin a four-week look at the topic "How to Be Rich" (not how to "get" rich, but how to "be" rich). But before we can go very far, we need to come to grips with the fact that (yes) we... are... rich.
