Worship is the fundamental purpose of the church and the first responsibility of its parishioners and clergy. The basis of all worship, no matter the occasion, is planned liturgy that includes praise, thanksgiving, prayer and supplication. In the Anglican Communion, the blessing and receiving of the Eucharist as the symbolic body & blood Christ is the very nourishment of our faith in God and a demonstration of our discipleship in Christ.
At St. James & St. Brendan, worship services include: choral & said Eucharists on Sunday, Thursday healing, weekly Lenten, annual Mariner's, as well as Bible studies, prayer groups, occasional video presentations and guest speakers.. |
