Beyond worship, the church is a gathering of God's people working together for the advancement of Christian values and lifestyle, sharing knowledge & resources, offering love, support & comfort to others in need, planning and providing for the needs of the church, its parishioners and clergy.
Building a supportive Christian community is often best accomplished through small group endeavours, including Bible study groups, operational / maintenance groups, the choir, ACW, men's breakfasts, spiritual retreats, church dinners, fundraisers and more. Equally important is building community beyond the parish through community work, supporting charitable & aid organizations, the HUB and Cinema at the Guild. |
